MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is an advanced scan that uses magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of the body’s internal organs, joints, brain, spine, and soft tissues—without using radiation.
Your doctor may suggest an MRI to diagnose:
- Brain or spine conditions
- Nerve or disc problems
- Joint, ligament, or sports injuries
- Tumours and soft tissue abnormalities
- Breast and abdominal diseases
- Heart conditions
- Fetal abnormalities during pregnancy
MRI helps plan treatment and surgeries more accurately
